Protein in Urine

I have had protein from since the beginning of my pregnancy. Ive been tested for pre-eclampsia and cleared on that. Doctors dont really seem greatly concerned so im guessing protein doesnt always= pre-e???? Now I am high risk because of pre existing diabtetes and high blood pressure and maybe thats why. 

Does anyone else have protein in their urine each time and not high risk?

    I've only had protein in my urine once, but my OB is concerned about pre-e due to my BP.

    Clomid/Femara cycle #1 - 6/10 = BFN
    Clomid/Femara cycle #2 - 7/10 = BFP #1 - Missed miscarriage 9/2/10
    11/12 - BFP #2 - 11/22 - m/c
    5/1/11 - BFP #3 - Pre-eclampsia, IUGR & bed rest from 32w. DD born via induction 1/4/12.

    at my previous appointment (before this past one, does that make sense?) I had protein in my urine as well, enough for my MW to bring it up to me but I also had a high white blood cell count in there as well. My BP was also slightly elevated...

    Turns out I had a killer, asymptomatic bladder infection. By that I mean I didn't have a single symptom other than weird abdominal and lower back cramping (lower back is because baby girl is posterior I've recently learned and the lower abdominal cramps is my uterus and cervix getting ready for the show from what I understood from her.)

    A short course of antibiotics later, my urine tested negative for both the white blood cells and protein. I'd ask if maybe they couldn't rule out an infection somewhere if they are sure it's not a precursor to pre-e. I'll be thinking of you and hope it's nothing serious!

    Thanks. Yeah Ive had infections in the past but havent had any since (crosses fingers) but I did test positive for group b strep so I wonder if that could do it. Either way I go to a high risk ob and my regular ob each week, so im sure they will just continue to monitor me over the course of the next few weeks and hopefully all will be well.
