BBT Rise during period??

This may be a TMI filled post but I am looking for advice! 

I may be going crazy but my BBT has been steadily rising since AF.

I started charted my BBT last cycle in preparation for conceiving our first child through AI.My chart was easy to read and had an obvious post ovulation dip, high ovulation temperature as you can see below....

Towards the end of my cycle (1am of ovulation day - 12/2) we decided to inseminate.

As with most during the 2ww I accredited each bump, bloat & twinge to the possible success in conception. This was my first attempt and while it wasn't impossible I knew that it was a shot in the dark.

First, my cycle has been pretty accurate over the past few months 25 days (24 days at it's shortest) and only lasts 3-4 days.

Today marks 13 days from insemination day and I begun to spot on December 12th around 11pm. It was 2-3 days before my projected AF should begin so this is throwing me off. On top of that the spotting began after (GROSS WARNING) I went to the bathroom and wiped off a large amount of gooey brown substance. It wasn't like blood and it contained lots of CM. I wanted to cry because I thought this was the insemination bleeding. The next morning I had begun flowing but it still contained a lot of CM (which seemed abnormal) and it was brown/pink and only one bathroom trip was it red. It was one average (not quite Medium) day one and a low day too. This morning I am barely spotting enough to call it spotting.

I am sure I have received the dreaded visit and the disappointment that accompanies it.

The odd thing is that my temperature, despite the slight deep before my cycle, has slowly risen. I am really confused as my numbers were much lower last cycle and I didn't have but one random temperature spike before O.

 


 

 Is it possible that I could be pregnant??


ANY advice, thoughts, helpful wishes would be GREATLY appreciated!

I can't believe how much you loved something that wasn't even in existance yet!

    If you got your period, you are definitely not pregnant. My BBT always rises when I'm on my period, so much so that I just disregard these temps when I chart.

    I just started reading about temping and I believe that it's common for your temp to rise when you have your period. Some of the other more experienced ladies may have more insight, though

    If you truly think you're pregnant, take a test. We can't tell you anything based on what you've told us; from your information, it actually sounds like you're not pregnant. Keep in mind that temps can be crazy during your period, which is why a lot of us choose not to temp until it's over.
