I had this issue when EPing with DS1 but didn't realize until WAY too late. I had over 1000 oz stored before I used any of my frozen milk. Some he took without a problem but some he refused. I ended up throwing over half of it away ![]()
I want to try and catch the problem early with this one. What is your process for scalding? Do you do it every day or wait until you have several bottles stored up?

I was just reading about scalding on kellymom yesterday, and it recommends that you scald the milk as soon after expression as possible. Here is the link:

Also, since you can store expressed milk in the fridge for up to 8 days, could you not just skip freezing for some of the milk? Obviously if you are transporting it, storing at daycare etc, that might not be possible, but perhaps for the milk you give at home? Just an idea....
