My big goal for the day was to mail out my Christmas cards. I addressed them last night. This morning I sealed and stamped them and they're already in the mail box. I even took in the garbage can and got dressed.

H's Sgt is supposed to be coming over for a home inspection. They want to make sure that the guys are not lying about where they live and that they're not complete slobs.

Well, I'd die if we got sent to Bragg because I soooo want to be in the same place as Mrs.Hollywood. Our girls would have so much fun together and our next LOs would only be a month apart.

If I didn't know her though... right now my dream sheet would be:

CONUS: Ft. Carson, CO - Everyone I've ever talked to has loved it there.

OCONUS: Ft. Shafter, HI - Who wouldn't want to live in Hawaii? They'd pay to ship our stuff there and we'd get additonal cost of living pay to even out the fact that it's expensive as he!l.

Sledding or swimming?

I normally love swimming, but...

We got married in Tahoe and the ONE thing I wanted to do before the wedding was go tubing. There was a huge storm a couple days before we went up, but by the time we got there it was rain. The rain made all the trails too sleek and they were closed all weekend. We drove/called around for 2 days to find someone, anyone, that was open, but no luck. One day I WILL go tubing.

I love Ellen too. When I went off on bedrest I watched it every day. When I was going back to work I was 1 % sad about missing Ellen, 99 % about missing W. lol

What you do outside of work is their business. You represent the Army 24/7. If your lawn is not mowed, you will be punished, even if it's not base housing. If you're out in town on the weekend and your face isn't shaved and you run into your Sgt, expect to do some push ups in the middle of whatever store you're at. Don't even think about flipping off another driver. You never know when it'll be the Col's wife.

This is how they caught that couple from 16 and Pregnant living in filth. The H is in the Air Force. They took away their kid until they cleaned up the house...

I forget to watch it all the time because it's around the time H comes home. But there's just something about her... she's got a beautiful soul. There aren't that many truly good people out there these days, but she's one of them.
