Hi ladies - I've been lurking for a while and wanted to step out and say hello. My husband and I are starting this fun process and have had to jump to TTTC due to what now appears to be fertility issues on both our ends.
Last year our doctor recommended banking sperm ahead of a major sugery for my husband. When we went for the first SA it came back at 0. We were told (by RE #1) to look into donors and call when ready. Fast forward to this year, this major surgery looks to be a little ways down the road (as his health has improved) so we decide to just see whats going on and if SA1 was a fluke and low and behold the second SA showed about 2 million total and about 50% morph! Due to the chronic autoimmune issues my husband has, my Gyn wanted us to go straight to an RE now that we're ready.
Last week we met with RE #2 (have to use this practice because of my insurance - and luckily its a good one!) who wanted to run base line tests on both of us after I reported having abnormal cycles this year (went off BC Dec '10 and started using FF just to keep track). Well it turns out my labs are coming back off (high LH, AMH, & Testosterone) so I am to go back early next month for ultrasound and discussion of PCOS (per her note to me).
After lurking for a while I see this a something many of you are working with. I've done a bit of reading online but wanted to know what you're favorite resources have been as far as PCOS/TTC. I appreciate the insight!
Looking forward to getting to know you all!

Hi, Welcome to the board. I'm sorry you have to be here and I hope your stay is short.
Check out the TTC blog, that should have alot of information on it for you. I don't have a link, but I think a few others do in their signatures.
I also have PCOS and was started on Metformin right away. I started at 500mg and worked my way up to 2000mg/day. I do believe it has helped me.
This is a great group of women - don't be afraid to ask questions.
