I have NO idea what to get my son for xmas and its just a few weeks away at this point haha I've asked my friends with kids and the opinion across the board is "Don't put so much thought into it, they wont even remember this Christmas or what they got this year at that age." UMMM I'm not trying to make one for the memory books haha im not trying to blow his mind or make a memory miracle, I just want something that he'll love!
He's very, very active. A 'boy' in every sense of the word, loves rough play, loves jumping, falling, climbing, etc.
He loves things that light up, play music/sounds with buttons or things he can press. (as made evident with my cell phone that he loved to play with and later broke and his excitement to jump all over my laptop lol)
I thought this would be easy--something that lights up and makes noise that he can roll around the living room with---I was wrong haha his first xmas, he was only 3 months so this will be the first time I've EVER bought a gift or toys for someone his age and apparently ALL children's toys light up and make sounds haha sooooo....anyone have a great toy that their son fell in love with and kept their attention? That way I can sort of go into the store with a little more focus and not get overwhelmed by all the options lol TIA!
Re: Xmas Toy Recs for a 15 Month Boy? ")
We got my son one of those car ramps.
We also bought him a mega blocks set and a ball pit.
My son is exactly like you describe yours and I actually go with the opposite mindset. I try to get him toys that are more settled and he has to sit and play with. Few electronics and loud music. He loves his activity cube with the bead maze on top, he had a 123 Playmobile Noah's Ark that he plays with EVERYDAY. Both of these toys have no music or electronics. He also loves stacking and knocking down so duplo lego is on the list for him this year. He loves dancing and music so I am getting him a band kit (I hope my migraines survive that one or it will disappear).
Think about who your son is and what he likes. I'm sure you'll find things he loves!
My son is like yours. These are things that he already has that he loves and plays with every day. He is non stop all the time and goes from thing to thing, but these seem to be favorites.

omg what a cutey! I agree w/ you. Christmas is just the time I'm using to get him some stuff he'll play with. My son is really into stacking cups and blocks right now. They were like 10$ each and he gets tons of play time in w/ them every day for a couple months now. At first they pissed him off but he was 1 then. For Christmas his big presents are a basketball hoop and play kitchen.
Oh and this has been a big hit...I think because its very similar to a grown up gadget

Thanks for the compliments and all the great suggestions!!! I'm on amazon as we speak!!

.....(BTW--Isn't Amazon.com just about the greatest shopping tool on Earth? I freaking love amazon! haha)
When my son was that age, he LOVED to vacuum. There's a toy vacuum probably by Fisher Price that makes noise when you vacuum.
LeapFrog has this brithday cake thing that always looked fun to me, personally, lol. https://www.amazon.com/Leapfrog-Counting-Candles-Birthday-Cake/dp/B002X7D8SO
This was also a HUGE hit with both my kids at that age and all subsequent babies to visit. https://www.amazon.com/Fisher-Price-Amazing-Animals-Spinnin-Musical/dp/B0015USUQK
DS will also be 15 months old at Christmas this year! We got him:
A Pottery Barn Kids Anywhere Chair
An easel, along with some crayons, and Crayola Color Wonder Markers and paper
Some puzzles and books
Mega Bloks
The Leap Frog Fridge Farm, for when he's playing in the kitchen and I'm cooking dinner
Enjoy this Christmas with your little one!
