Shopgirl and I took the kids (with my DH) on the North Pole Express (like the Polar Express) tonight. They loved it!! I thought their eyes were going to bug out of their sockets when they saw the snow! (We live in Texas so seeing snow falling (even from snow machines was fun for them.) My DS love love loves trains right now so he kept saying "Ride Choo Choo!!" All of the kids were so excited to see Santa and go on the train in their PJs and everything. I'm so glad she invited us. ![]()

Looking for Santa:

Re: AW - shopgirl and my kids on the Polar Express (PsIP)
YAY! The kids had a blast and it was really neat! (And luckily passed out after McDonalds : ) Thanks for coming. I just love those last two pics!
See you next weekend too (and around here : )
It's in Grapevine, Tx (around the DFW metroplex, well technically between) which is probably 2-3 hours from you. My dad used to be stationed in Ft Hood. I drove about the same distance (opp way) tho. It's not bad...did it alone with my 3 though waiting for the show to start (DS2 was getting very impatient!!)
Oo0o I KNOW WHERE THAT IS! haha sry excitement! I was just in Grapevine in October, Army offered a Family Retreat, we went to the Great Wolf Lodge (OMG! If you haven't yet, deff go there!) lol. That's about 3 Hours from me, not bad at all!
Do they Have a website?
And Omg Your kiddos are all adorable in their pj's with santa!
I live less than 5 minutes from Great Wolf and pass it almost every day on my way to my studio or to drop the kids at preschool or whatever.
Anyway - website is https://www.grapevinetexasusa.com/
shop drove at least 2 hours down and is coming down again next weekend to fly out of DFW (and leave a car here with me). It's not an awful drive. I've driven up to her a few times, to Houston (4-5 hours) and to San Antonio (5 hours) a bunch alone and with DH. It's never fun with a road trip with kids, but all doable.
Oh Wow! Yeah I really didn't want to leave that place it was AWESOME, dd had a blast!
I've learned anything good in Texas is about 2-3 hours from Fort Hood!
Thank you for the website I'm gonna have to check it out for sure!
Adorable.
We did the Polar Express here a few years ago and the kids loved it. Unfortunately, our snow is always the real kind.
