.My dogs have both pee'd on my hospital bag, and by the doors for the past couple days. They're both potty trained, 4 and 9 years old. We take them out all the time so i can't imagine they have to go. I know i may be giving them too much credit but i think they know were having the baby this week. Im getting my induction date today. They seem to be acting a little off. Is this happening to anyone else, or ever heard of such a thing?
Re: Are your animals acting weird?
I have two dogs. My bichon frise is a female and has been acting VERY clingy the last few weeks. She always wants to sit on my lap and follows me everythere. My yorkie, who is a male, has pee'd in the house about five times since we set all the baby stuff up in the nursury. He is really good about peeing in the house so this is very unusual for him... Also in the last couple of weeks he has been acting very possessive of me. He even barks when my husband comes near me which is really weird because he loves my husband... I definitely think they know something is up!
Some people say that pets can sense when a big change is coming.
My dog was super clingy with me yesterday and was acting really mopey and depressed. It bummed me out.
My dogs are always super clingy. Always following me around, sitting on my feet while I use the bathroom, waiting for me at the shower.
One does seem super whiny lately though.
Our Maltese will not leave me alone. Always on my lap and stomach and follows me everywhere, including the bathroom and tried to get into the shower with me. He pooped in the nursery (sigh).
Our dogs are driving me NUTS! If its not the one being super clingy, they both are acting out...one woke me up crying and wanting to be snuggled two nights ago, whimpering for no reason, took him outside twice that night and nothing...the other one puked her dogfood on my freshly changed cream duvet cover this morning...
Mine are the opposite. My male dog always wants to be around me and cuddle lately, and my female dog is acting normal.

I have 2 labs. One of them is always in my face (even when I'm not pregnant), and the other one usually could care less about things. My clingy lab is even more clingy now and needs to follow me into the bathroom when I go to the bathroom (every 20 minutes), and she even peaks her head around the shower curtain to see me shower.
The other lab is showing the most change... she usually could care less about cuddling and being close. She now follows me everywhere and wants to snuggle all of the time. I am loving it, so it doesn't bother me... but I hope she doesn't get too sad when Anna arrives and we can't cuddle as much. I know the books say to ignore them before baby arives... but I am just eating up all this canine affection.
