How many times a day does your LO brush his/her teeth?
E brushes his before bed, but that is it. I have tried to find a good time in the morning, but he gets up, eats breakfast reasonably soon after, and then drinks a ton of milk for about the hour after that. Soon after that, he gets a snack. Just trying to see what others do.
I brush in the morning and at night, but at varying times in the morning, depending on what I am doing. I want to work it into a routine for him.
Re: Brushing teeth ?
He always brushes them at night (well, 95% of the time I guess) and I usually brush them before he leaves for daycare, or after he eats breakfast if we are staying home.
At daycare the kids all brush after lunch before they nap. I've been trying to do that at home too.
We try to do 2x. With my 2 year old, I brush her teeth right before her lunchtime nap and then bed - she drinks a bottle before she falls asleep.
I'm not as good with my 4.5 year old, just because it is a huge rush to get out the door.
However - I will say - I personally brush their teeth. I read something about kids who even brush 2+ times a day not doing well. Honestly, I know I'm doing a heck of a lot better than my kids would, I really scrub.

Tessie has started brushing hers every morning as soon as she wakes up. But this is a recent thing because a.) she has started asking to and b.) it entertains her while I am throwing up (lol).
We only in the last 2 weeks switched to kids toothpaste vs baby toothpaste, and I am trying to teach her to spit it out. She still swallows 80% of the time though.
This is true. The dentist said to keep doing it until they are school-age.
DD used to hate and fight getting her teeth brushed. Finally, I bribed her by saying she could brush Abby's if I could brush hers. So now the routine is that while she brushes her own, I brush Abby's. And then I brush hers for 1 song - usually she picks ABCs, but it is great bc she actually sits there with her mouth wide open bc she knows that when I am done singing the teeth brushing is done. And then she gets to brush Abby's while I put everything away. Dog's a good sport.
