So excited and cautiously optimistic! 8 Days past IVF transfer. Positive test 4 days after transfer. Set for beta tomorrow. All sorts of sleepy and throwing up my dinner. Even excited about that since I wasnt sick at all with my 2 miscarriages. Due day 8/27 but they warned me I would likely be induced early because of my age (way older mom to be).

Re: working poll?
Ditto. Its worked out fine so far.
Until I go into labor.
I mentally checked out weeks ago though.
Waiting until I go into labor....just hoping that doesn't happen at work! Mentally though, I feel like I'm already partially checked out, but I blame it on all the leave preparation I am doing.

I work at a large firm and, due to medical issues, have been off since mid-September and I'm due at the end of December! I'm afraid when I go back I won't remember anything!! Haha
Ditto. I think I mentally checked out the day after I started working lol!
Until labor starts.
A lot of women won't have a spontaneous breaking of the waters before active labor begins, if at all. So waiting for your water to break before leaving work is not a reasonable option. I won't want to be at work long before my water breaks. With DD#1, I was having contractions for over 12 hours before my OB broke my water...contractions rough enough that I would NOT want to be at work during them. But she was late so I was at work on my EDD. I will do the same with this LO.
Other- I am stopping next week. I am going to be a SAHM again after the baby arrives, so I really didn't see the point in working up until the bitter end. Also, I have a horrible commute that will just get worse as we progress into winter.
This Exactly... I couldn't vote on your poll, since going into labor doesn't mean you water will break. Most of the time the doc breaks it when your already at the hospital!
SS: my last day of work will be Jan 7. I'm due Jan 11

I picked "until my water breaks" because with my DS it did break - as I was getting ready for work that day - I was 39 weeks and 6 days. This time same thing - I will work until my water breaks or active labor. I work from home 90% of the time so my situation is somewhat different, but I'm considered self-employed/contract work so if I don't work I don't get paid at all. We don't have FMLA or PTO or anything, so I want to get every check possible before baby comes. And because my son is in "school" I get up and take him and pick him up every morning so I'd still be up and about.
I will limit my travel though as time gets closer, especially traveling to the main office which is about 45 minutes to an hour from my house, and about 2 hours from the hospital.
