    there used to be a lending library in austin and we loved it. it was great for wooden toys, puzzles, and baby toys that they outgrow so quickly. but sadly, it is no more since that crazy lady ran away with all the money and they had to shut down.

    Family Connections had a lending library? My friend used to work there. I had no idea about the library. That's too bad.

    Unless it was something that could be totally sanitized between kids, no. Before I had kids, I would have answered yes.

    I am shocked at some of the utterly nasty things that my children are capable of. Shocked.

    family connections sanitized everything in between kids. it was awesome. plus, they had cool stuff like gymnastics style mats, those huge stacking blocks, great parenting books, etc.

    I remember seeing the Toy-garoo lady on Shark Tank a while back, and they did sanitize and shrink-wrap everything between kids. 

    I don't know how I feel about it though... it's a clever idea, that's for sure.

    i saw that too and thought it was neat until i heard the high cost

    I saw on the local news that there is a company in Austin that does this and I book-marked it Tub of Toys - https://www.tuboftoys.com/index.php?route=common/home (sorry no clicky - we just got a new computer and I can't figure out how to do it). I think it's a great idea, but we haven't thought it worth the price yet.
