Has it happened to anyone else that all of a sudden you're lactose intolerant?
Every time I eat cheese or a milk product I get super sick and uncomfortable. My son was on soy formula when he was born but is fine now. Could this be that baby is going to be the same way? I'm going to ask my doctor when I go in but thats not til the 27th... I don't think it's something I really need to call about...
Re: lactose intolerant?
I was lactose intolerant until I got pregnant and now I'm not. It's super weird.
I highly recommend Lactaid products. Their milk is really tasty.
I'm a weirdo and actually like the taste of soy milk so I used to drink it every so often anyways. I'm totally cool w having a reason to go on soy milk lol. I just hate the fact of going through that with the baby again. It was HORRIBLE with my son.
I was getting sick from dairy from week 10 to around week 16. I pretty much cut out all dairy products after vomiting on 4 different dairy occasions.
I spoke to my doctor about it and she said it happens and it will probably pass (mine has). She said it won't hurt the baby, just make me not happy.
I'd cut out dairy for awhile and see how you do. Then try to slowly bring it back in and see how your body handles it.
Me too! I'm drinking a gallon of milk a week!
But I do highly recommend the lactaid milk. The pills work for me as well, when I took 2 at once.
This for me too! I'm not a big fan of the alternatives to milk. But GL!
Then came a miscarriage March '11
Then came a baby in the baby carriage May 16, 12
Waiting on our second little peanut!
