I've come across several baby checklists and they are all different Can someone recommend a list that they used and share that please (link if there there is one available). I'm especially interested in hearing from experienced moms. Thank you!
I went off of babies r us list when we registered with DD as well as just asking my close friends what they found to be practical or a huge waste of money. 2 things that were always a preference are the diaper gene and a changing table...which I decided no on. I prefered to change her on my bed or couch, floor pac n play with the travel changing station. I refused to run up steps ....an the diaper gene the refills are expensive and a lot more waste..now this is all on preference!!!!
Loved my: swaddle blankets, babyswing, and The First Years Sounds For Silence Premium Sound Machine which plays lullabys and you can hook your ipod up, it helped with background noises and dogs barking etc and has soothers like heartbeat, rain, water running. My DD still sleeps with it and shes 2 years old we joke that we are gona send her to college with it b/c she is so used to it.
It has a great list for what should be done when and also for registries. It even has a spot to write where you registered for what, a list for gifts given, and for things borrowed. I love it!

Here's the blog post I wrote when DS was about 6 months old:

This was the first baby item I bought right when we found out (the 40+ Weeks Organizer)

I kinda took them all and did a collaboration of the ones I actually felt I needed.
Now I just have a list of the things I actually figured out I needed.
Micromanagement me!
Loved your list. I also joined your blog
