salmon fail =(

I had no idea there were bones and vertebrae in canned salmon.  I was mixing the ingrediants to make salmon croquettes and felt sharp things.  I think I got them all out.  I was a canned salmon virgin until now. 

Do all brands contain bones?  I didn't even think to look for "no bones" on the can.

    I hear you on the grocery bills.  Have you eaten it yet?  How does it taste?  I'm interested to know, might be something to try.

    Not yet.  I'll cook them tonight.  They are patted out already, but I want to dip them in panko and old bay before frying them.

    My mom makes salmon patties with canned salmon.  She just crushes up the tiny bones into the patties as she makes them.  I think most of the canned varieties have bones.

    They were actually pretty good.  I baked them instead of frying them.  I bet they are 1000 x better with fresh salmon.
