I would get sick now...

I'm so aggravated! I've been well (with the exception of m/s) the entire pregnancy and now that I'm scheduled to be induced on Friday, I've come down with what I believe is a stupid sinus infection! How's that for timing? Anyone else having to deal with this too?

    I would call the docs right now and have them call in an antibiotic for you, so you can kick it quickly!! and start downing that OJ!

    This is what I'm so afraid of! My DH and DD are sick right now and I'm due on Sunday. With my luck I'll catch it the day I go into labor. Hope you get better soon!!!

    I am actually sitting in the hospital right now recovering from a sinus infection, and I was induced yesterday..How's that for a coincidence? On the bright side, all the coughing helped out with pushing! It wasn't as bad as I thought it was, I forgot all about being sick while I was in labor! The only bad thing now is that I can't cough or anything because it hurts SO bad, but hopefully you won't have a 3rd degree tear like I did! You will be fine!

    I think I caught this from someone that gave me a 15 minute break last week. I'm filling in as a receptionist until I go on leave tomorrow and this one lady had a horrible cough and was all over my stuff! Ugh! I hope you don't catch it!

    I'm hoping they will. They're wanting me to go through my PCP if it's an infection and I have no sick time left to go. Hopefully they will have sympathy for me at the OB office and just call it in!

    Me too.  I have a cold and I need it to get better.  I don't want to have to deliver and be sick at the same time. I just want to breath through my nose!

    Thanks me too real soon it's already hard to sleep and a stuffy nose makes it no better.

    I actually tried using a sinus rinse last night before bed and it did wonders to clear up my head. I slept propped up on pillows, almost sitting up, and actually slept through the night. Maybe you could try that!

    I'm sick too. Only one other cold this pregnancy and that was back in August. I'm pretty sure baby is snug in there and won't come on on her due date. Most likely an induction on Monday. Until then, chugging the OJ!!!  Feel better!
