Has anyone flown Southwest with your kiddo on your lap?
If you have, did you have to show LO's birth certificate?

Re: Lap Child on Southwest?
This. But we have never been asked for id for him, and we've flown at least 5 times (just in Canada though). We were also told his health card is enough so thats all I ever bring.
Definately take it.
I have been asked, and not asked. Frankly it bothers me when I'm not asked. I feel like anyone could take my kid on an airplane. (Not that their birth cert. has photo id or anything, but I still find it scary)
Thank you everyone.
DH didn't think it would be a big deal since DD is obviously not 2. We have been working to get a birth certificate for like a month now, and keep encountering glitches. We fly next week, so I was really starting to freak out.
But, I think we have it all figured out now, and I'll just go there in person.

Never flown Southwest but have flown American a handful of times. Never been asked for any kind of id for LO. I have his insurance card on me at all times. I did bring his SS card the first time I flew with him just in case.
