Contractions all day yesterday...then nothing!

So I had contractions all day yesterday, and last night they got close enough for me to go to the hospital and at least get checked. My Dr checked me and I was 2cms and 40% effaced. She asked me if I wanted to stay and I told her that I wanted to go and walk around and see what happened.

It was late and cold outside so mom, my BFF and I went to Walmart and walked around for an hour and nothing seems to progress. I was exhausted and it was midnight by this time so we left and went home and I got some sleep. (Until 5am when DD woke up) then at 6am everything stopped! I haven't had any contractions all day! So frustrating! Now it's just a waiting game! This happen to anyone else?

    Friday night this happened to me ... I had pressure for about 9 hours but it never got *worse* so I never went in ... I didnt sleep all night long - around 5am everything was magically gone ... no pressure, nothing 

    I was pretty annoyed lol

    story of my life...I had them ALL day today, I don't want him to come before Wednesday because I need to get some stuff done at work but after that I imagine it will get really annoying really fast.

    I had contractions on and off all day Sunday. For a while they were coming pretty consistently, then they started to get farther and farther apart, and finally stopped. Today, absolutely nothing. But, the good news is that my appointment today showed I was 3cm, so at least they gave me some progress. It won't be too much longer now!

    Yeah on Saturday night. Only got to 5 minutes apart though..but that lasted about 2 hours. Called my Dr and she said don't go to the hospital unless they get really painful...else I'll likely get turned around and sent home. Well they never did get very painful and by 12:30am they stopped.  Nothing since!

    It's so frustrating!  I had an hour and a half of painful contractions that were 10 minutes apart.  They weren't too intense, and they weren't getting closer together, so I just waited.  Then they went to 11 minutes...then 12...then they stopped.  That was last Monday.  Nothing timeable since then.

    I also had some last Monday (2 weeks ago) that got as close as 8 minutes apart and after I called L&D they just stopped, I have had BH since then, but no real labor-like contractions. I agree with how frustrating it is to think you are just about ready to go and then feel like you are back at square 1. I haven't had a full internal yet, so I don't even know if I am dilated or effaced. If I don't get some good news on Thursday at my appointment, I think I will be quite discouraged...
