Trying to Get Pregnant

A line isn't always a line - UPDATE

Hi, kids.  Three weeks ago I posted that "a line isn't always a line" and that both my regular GYN and my high-risk OB told me based on my constant spotting (a few days of red spotting, as well) and my very low progesterone and HCG that wasn't doubling, and a miserable looking chart, I was having a cp.  (I'd had one the cycle before I got pregnant with my daughter, so I knew what to look for and I thought I was having one, as well.)  Three weeks of constant spotting went by and lots of betas were done and none of them ever doubled, but they did speed up from doubling every 3 days to finally every 2.25 days.  But I was told to not be too optimistic because of the constant spot and bad numbers (progesterone was around 7-8), and to prepare for possibly a blighted ovum.

Lo and behold, I had my first u/s this morning and what do they see but a beautiful little seed planted smack dab in the middle of my ute (not on my c-section scar or in my tube, as I'd feared) with a teeny little flickering heartbeat of 113 bpm, putting me just over 6 weeks pregnant.  Say WHAT?!?!?!  MH and I were shocked and thrilled.  They said they like to see a hb of 120, but because it was so early, 113 was ok and it should hopefully go up.

I'm sorry to those people who read my post and sympathized for me too early. I'm still spotting, but I have a renewed hope now that this really will be a sticky little seed and I am so happy!
