DH and I are fighting over this. I'm freezing constantly and even though I wear a bunch of layers, socks, and slippers, I feel like I can't stay warm in our house. We need to winterize or something - I'm sitting by the wall of windows at the back of our house and I can feel cold air blowing in
Anyway...DH would be happy if our heat was set at 68 or lower. I say it needs to be at least 71, though I'd prefer it at 74 (like it is now...shhh, he's not home ) I'll let him bump it down to 70 when we go to bed, but he complains that he's sweating and I've got 15 blankets on top of me, lol... What does yours stay at?
Re: (Non-Clicky) Poll: What is your heater set at?
69 at night
70-71 during the day

68-70. If it goes over 70, I get hot and really annoyed.
My DH and I argue, too. He wants it warmer and hates wearing winter clothes. But I tell him--we spend the rest of the year being hot, he can put on a sweater and deal for our 6 week long winter.
This is SO me. I've got slippers, socks, workout tights, a tank top, long sleeve shirt, sweatshirt, and a blanket on me. I knew it was going to be worse this year than normal b/c I've lost quite a bit of body fat, but this is ridiculous!
You would hate my house. I HATE being hot and really don't care for "fake heat". At night, it is set to come on at 60. During the day, I have it set at 62.
During the summer, we keep our A/C at 66 at night and 70 during the day!
I'm quite sure I would die. That is freezing!!!
I cannot stand being cold. At all. And work from home. I have it at 72 but want it at 74. However DH also works from home and b/c our house heats unevenly (and also has awful insulation), his office gets way too hot. So we can't go higher than 72. This is why I finally ordered Uggs to wear indoors in the winter so my feet will be warm.
At night I turn it down to 70 b/c for some strange reason I am the one that gets super hot at night. I cannot however go below 70. Brrrrrrr!
72 and I'm freezing. I'm thinking about bumping it up to 74 or 75.

Same. I'll bump it up to 70 if I'm sitting around the house doing homework or something. Otherwise I make enough body heat to keep me warm. We're really not home much, either.
