I usually O pretty late, anywhere from CD 33-40. I'm on my first cycle of Clomid (100 mg). I've read that a lot of people O 5- 10 days after their last Clomid pill. That would be really really early for me. Just curious if there's anyone out there who O'ed pretty late before Clomid and what effect the drug had on them.
Also- do people continue to have hot flashes throughout their whole cycle? I was expecting it to stop after I took the last dose but I still seem to be having them. Thanks ladies!
Re: Question about late ovulators on clomid
I O normally CD16-18, and was ready to trigger at CD10-11 for all my Clomid cycles. So you may ovulate earlier than usual.
I had hot flashes during the entire cycle, and for a month or two after.

I have O'd anywhere between CD20-28, but usually closer to CD23. Last cycle was my first cycle with clomid and I O'd CD17, not too much early than I normally do. This cycle I will have my follie check earlier and trigger to O a few days earlier.
I never had hot flashes from the clomid. The issues I had a few weeks after my last dose were extreme nipple sensitivity, breast pain, major bloated and a huge increase in appetite. I didn't have any actual S/E while taking the drug.
Before Comid I would usually O on day 22 or 23. My last 2 cycles I've taken Clomid cd 3-7 and have Oed on day 15 each cycle. We are doing the same protocol as last cycle so I expect it will be close to day 15 again.
My hot flashes would come and go my entire cycle, from the time I started taking the pills until AF reared her ugly face. I start taking taking them again tonight, and I am so glad the weather in Houston has finally decided to drop into the 60s. When they get really bad, I go into the back yard and stick my feet in our pool to cool off.

I'm not entirely sure when I ovulated with the clomid, but I suspect it was roughly CD 20 (taking it CD 5-9... it was a clomid challenge test). I typically O in the CD23-28 range. Even though it wasn't much earlier than usual, something about the O was better, because I did end up with my first ever (though short lived) BFP.
I had the hot flashes through about CD 30, shortly before the BFP.
my 'regular' cycles i ovulate CD 20-22, with clomid this cycle i ovulated on CD 15.
and yes i am still having crazy hot flashes (in 2ww)
7/30/12 - B/G twins born at 33w4d due to PPROM
Without clomid, I ovulate around CD24. On my first round of clomid (50mg), I still ovulated at CD24. The following cycle we increased the dosage to 100mg and I was ready to trigger on CD14!
I'm carrying & we are using anonymous donor sperm
