Getting sick - not from m/s

I don't know about you ladies, but m/s and actually BEING sick feel totally different for me. I didn't know this until tonight. Around 7:30 pm I had this hard, awful, disgusting feeling in my stomach. With m/s I just feel nauseous, without an actual pain in my stomach. Tonight, I think I may have picked up some sort of stomach bug from somewhere. I got my flu shot, so I have to hope that it's not the flu.

I'm supposed to have an interview tomorrow, and it's 45 minutes away from my house. I can't imagine interviewing feeling like this. At 8:30 I have to be at my sisters school for a presentation of those who made the honor roll. This is the first time in her school career she's made honor roll and I would feel awful missing it. She's got delays and she worked SO hard ... and nobody else in my family can be there. 

Being sick SUCKS.

    We had the stomach virus go through our family this week. It seems to be happening everywhere (I've seen friends on FB in a few other states mention having it too and about half our Church has had it the past few weeks). It's not very fun :( Hope it passes quickly for you!

    Oh and the flu shot is for influenza and that is NOT the same thing as the stomach flu (which isn't really a flu, it's a bug/virus).

    I know the difference you're talking about but I've had both for the last few months. During the morning/afternoon I feel just the general nausea and m/s feeling. I don't eat much until late afternoon/early evening. Once I've eaten though, I have that awful stomach pain and then I actually vomit (which I think is still pgcy related, just feels different). I know I'm hoping for some relief soon and I hope you're feeling better too!
