Transfer day: I'm PUPO!

We went in for our 5dt this morning.  We transferred 1 AA grade blast. We actually had two that were "textbook perfect" but still chose to only transfer 1.  I will get the full blast report tomorrow when I found out what was left to freeze.  I think it is just so awesome that we got pictures of our blast, as well as the ultrasound picture of where it was transferred into my uterus.

DH has taken such good care of me today - he cooked dinner, made cookies, cleaned up the kitchen - all while I laid on the couch.  I don't think that has ever happened before!  

Now we just wait....
Thank you to everyone on this board - I have found such comfort and support here this cycle.

    Dumb question - what does PUPO mean??

    Multiple ectopics, 2 failed IVF's
    IVF #1: Did not get to ET, embies all failed PGD (major chromosomal defects)
    IVF #2: We have 2 chromosomally perfect embies as a result of PGD (Boy/Girl) 1 failed the thaw (Girl) Transferred 1, yet ended as a c/p
    Thought it was the end of our TTC Journey 6/20/2012
    SHOCK BFP 9/28/2012: IT'S A BOY! and everything is normal !!!!!!

    Little A born 38w 2d on 05/23/13 and is a true miracle for this IF Vet!

    7/20/11-ER:No eggs in 4/5 follicles. Left the 5th follie intact and converted to an IUI
    8/3/11-Beta #1=BFN,
    Nov, 2011 BFP #1=m/c at 7 wks 3 days
    11/11-AMH .47, IVF #2 March 2012...or not!! Surprise BFP on 2/19. Beta #1=161. Beta #2 305 Our little miracle girl is on her way! Due Oct 29, 2012

    My clinic makes you wait 2 weeks - even after 5dt!   Because I transferred on a Sunday, I am hoping they will do my beta on 12/16.  But that still seems like forever!

    Congratulations!! That is so wonderful that you had a perfect little embryo! Now get in there and stick, little one.

    So happy to hear that your husband pampered you the way he should!! He sounds like a sweetie. It is so wonderful to see different sides come out of our husbands...and always so great to be pleasantly surprised. :)

    Me: 39 DH: 39 Dx: MFI, DOR, Poor Responder Our only option is IVF with ICSI; 1/11 IVF#1.1: Lupron flare, canceled lead follie/poor response; 3/11 IVF#1.2: EPP, canceled due to lead follicle/poor response; 10/11 IVF#1.3: Antagonist, microdose HCG, 2 embies 2dt BFN; 12/11 IVF #2: Stims started 12/17, ER: 12/27 3R, 1 mature, 1 fert, other 2 eggs matured overnight and rescue ICSI performed and both fertilized! (frozen on 12/30), On 12/29 1 2d 4-cell, grade 1 embie transferred. 1/12: Scheduled Beta, FX'd! IVF Snowflakes!

    Resumed TTC in October 2009 HSG, Hysteroscopy, S/A all clear
    Five total medicated cycles and IUI #1-3 = BFN and all while we were still "unexplained IF"
    25 August Lap revealed Endo, adhesions and blocked left tube
    September 2011: Femara + IUI #4 (IUI #1 post endo removal) =BFFN
    November: IVF #1: Stims started 11/16 ER 11/25 (7R, 5F) ET 11/30 Transferred 2 beautiful expanding blastocysts +HPT 12/6/11
    Beta #1 at 9dp5dt=153! Beta #2 at 16dp5dt= 4009!
    Ultrasound 12/30 showed one beautiful heartbeat! EDD 17 August, 2012

    Hazel Evelyn arrived 10 August, 2012!

    Surprise natural BFP March 2015. M/C at 5 weeks

    Good luck! Hope the 2WW goes quickly for you! And how did you get your DH to bake cookies?? I need to work on my DH. He just hands me the remote, and goes back to work. Smile
