I am a slug.

I ran six miles this week. Did another four walking in the mornings.

I usually run 12-16 miles a week. I have no energy. I'm cramping every time I get on the treadmill. I feel bloated. I feel lazy. I feel like a slug.

Mostly I'm worried that I'm not sticking to my routine and will have an awful labor because of it.

Anyone else slacking off? What are you doing to motivate yourself?

  • Listen up Slug- it is TOTALLY okay to be feeling all of your noted symptoms. I had a rough couple (more like 5) weeks in the 1st tri too! And once I got that 2nd tri energy I hit the gym and the treadmill and felt like a million bucks. You'll find motivation again because you'll miss your regular workouts!
