Favorite childhood TV show? What show didn't I love as a child? I watched a lot of tv. I recall loving Facts of Life - and no, I didn't have a crush on Jo.
Do you collect anything?Nope. I am not a collector of anything.
What is your first thought upon waking? I really wish my body would allow me to sleep later than 6am. Even when the kids are still asleep, I wake up now and can't sleep any later. Sigh.
What is your bedtime routine? (Assume kids if any are already in bed.) I either shower while the kids are watching their one show before bed or while L is reading to them. Once she is reading and I am showered, I pour the kids milk for the next morning, make sure their lunches and snacks are ready to be packed, make sure the house is locked up, and get in bed to surf online and watch stuff on tv that doesn't interest L (ie. The Rosie Show on OWN.) When she is done reading (8:30ish) I turn off whatever I am watching and we watch whatever interests us both. I am typically asleep by 10:00-10:30 (although sometimes it is closer to 9:30!)
Do you believe in ghosts? Why/not?I am not sure....
What is your worst habit? Biting my nails and my cuticles. Sadly, Grayson has picked up this habit.
What are you three best personality traits? Witty, independent, practical.
What's one thing you miss about being a kid? Not having so much responsibility and not having so many worries/concerns.
What's one thing you love about being an adult? Freedom to make my own decisions.
If you had to change your first name, what would you choose? I have no idea. I can't imagine being anything else. Though in 4th grade, I wanted to be called Missy. No idea where that came from.
Favorite song at this very moment? It will always be George Winston's piano version of Pachelbel's Cannon in D on his December cd. I can't tell you how many times I have listened to that song since HS.
Favorite song that you remember from high school? I heard EMFs Unbelieveable on 90s Sirius the other day that made me think of HS.
Favorite gay website (news, gossip, non-profit or anything)? Occasionally I look at After Ellen and Autostraddle (both lesbian sites.) I have the Advocate app on my phone that I read when bored.

Do you collect anything?Not really. I have a collection of pink pyrex but I haven't bought anything new in ages so I'm not actively collecting.
What is your first thought upon waking? "shut up. I don't want to let you out to pee yet!" (thinking about the dog whining by my side of the bed.
What is your bedtime routine? Change into pjs, wash face. Then veg on the couch and eat too much ice-cream or drink too much wine. Nod off. Wake up and force myself to go upstairs to bed.

What is your worst habit? They all qualify as bad. I'm passive aggressive though. Or at least that's the one that gets me in the most trouble.

What is your bedtime routine? (Assume kids if any are already in bed.) Cuddle on the couch with DP until either of us can no longer keep our eyes open and move to the bedroom, where somehow we gain the energy to have a conversation.

What is your bedtime routine? brush teeth, let dog out, set alarm, make some bottles to bring upstairs, check on kids, get into bed.

Sitting in a pine tree near my old house that had perfect seat reading a book. I could sit up there all day reading and watch all the kids in the neighborhood without being seen. It was my invisibility cloak and I would get yelled at for coming home sappy.

What is your first thought upon waking? Weekdays: is it time to get up already? Weekends with E home: it better be after 7am. Weekends alone: it better be after 9am.
What is your bedtime routine? (Assume kids if any are already in bed.) Clean up any remaining dishes, turn on the alarm, make sure E's covered up, wash face, brush teeth, in bed and finish word games and read news on my phone until I fall out.
Do you believe in ghosts? Why/not? I used to not think so but then I've seen shows that make me question that. Like Long Island Medium...that lady has me going.

What is your first thought upon waking? "Where are the kids?" By morning they are usually both in our bed, and frequently when I wake I am the only adult there (S is either in the shower or sleeping on the couch "watching" TV), so I do a quick check to make sure no-one is about to fall off the edge or bump their head on the headboard.

Well, it's supposed to be wash face, brush teeth, jammies, bed, but usually it's "oh $#!t it's 2:30 AM and I fell asleep on the couch again and I hear Little Man squirming on the monitor so I'd better get in there to settle him before he wakes all the way up!" stumble stumble stumble through the kitchen into our room.
Do you believe in ghosts? Why/not? I guess not really. But it is kinda freaky that Peanut routinely looks at the ceiling, smiles and says "hi!!!" while waving excitedly.
