What were your internal stats?

Greetings Ladies,

I had my first internal today at 37 weeks 4 days. I am not dilated or effaced. U/S showed my baby is 7lb7oz.

He will check again in a week or so. Just curious what everyone else's stats are.

And yay for December!

I don't get ultrasounds but at 37 weeks 4 days I was 3 cm and 100% effaced, doesn't mean much

I too had my first internal today & the only info I was given was that baby is head down & she could feel the head. She didn't mention anything else, & I didn't ask. I figure I don't have to know seeing as it could mean something either direction.

I'm "very very soft" but not quite dilating. Whatever that means...

Had my first today - 36w2d - he said I'm very thin but not dilated.

When DH asked if we were still on track for our due date (12/27), he said yes. It'll probably be 3-4 more weeks. I wish I could get excited about the progress, but I know it means nothing!

.Im %50 effaced and only dilated a fingertip, that was Wednesday when i was 38wks. Its kinda hurtful because im in a lot of pain and im not making headway. But its nice to know a lot of women have it happen over night so i guess im not behind.

Hi! I had my first internal yesterday at 35 weeks 6 days, and I am 70% effaced but not dilated at all. I go back next Wednesday and am hoping to have made some more progress! Fingers crossed.

As of today I am 1/2 cm dialated and 50% effaced. I was also 1/2 cm last week at 38 wks. I know it doesn't really mean anything, but it pretty much has in my head now that this little man likes his current home and will prob be late.

I had my first internal today (36w1d) and was 1cm/50%. Due date is 12/28, but MW said I will probably deliver before Christmas. It's nice to know that something is going on down there, but from what I hear, it's pretty useless info...you could be 4cm dilated and walk around like that for a couple of weeks apparently!

34w: long and closed but soft

35w: 2 cm 40% effaced -3 station

36w: 3 cm 70% effaced -2 station

I had my first check today (37w2d) and my cervix hasn't made any change .. not even 1cm dilated. I'm not surprised though.. it was the same story with my daughter and I ended up going overdue a full week so I'm expecting the same thing again. But try not to get too hung up on the dilation thing .. I was 3cm dialted with my son for three weeks and still went overdue so it really doesn't tell you anything concrete abotu when labour will start

My exam i was told that my cervix was high and closed, she said that she could hardly get up in there.. I want some action going on down there maybe next week i will have some positive answers

I was a fingertip with DD until I was induced at 40 weeks 4 days. I've been a fingertip this time too with no other changes. I'm not expecting much to happen until I'm in labor.
