Hi ladies! I know I'm rarely on here anymore. I really want to talk about this though, and I can't on FB.
So...Breaking Dawn...
I'm suprised by the number of FB friends that have posted they took their tween to see it. Just reading the book, I thought it was too intense for a tween (or younger, or older even). Although the movie didn't "show" much ... that honeymoon see was long, and INTENSE. I have a friend who has a 9 year-old and a 12 year-old and she asked me to give her feedback: I told her I didn't think they should see it. I just didn't think there would be a way to cover their eyes for long enough. Heck...I think 1/3 of the movie was focused on that intenseness (and I'm sure you get my drift).
What do you guys think?
Re: Drive-by Post re: Twilight - Breaking Dawn
Yea, the birth seen is something else. When I read it in the book, I didn't think it was that bad. Seeing it ... I had to close my eyes through most of it. Yikes.

I absolutely agree. I think the other 3 were totally fine for the tweens. This one - not so much.
And the weightloss - that was just crazy. And I've had an eating disorder. During the first part, I secretly wished I was that thin (and considered a return to my old food boycott - just being honest). But by the end, I was freaked out.
