Today we had a client cash in a bunch of silver eagle coins (1oz coins). I bought them from the teller after he left because I like old coins.

I called a coin dealer to see how much he would buy them from me.

$32.44 each

I paid $1 per coin

 

Today, I love my job.

    I want to add that the teller tried to get the client to not cash them in, told him he could get a better deal cashing in the slilver--really tried. But the client said if we wouldnt take them, he would take them to another bank.

    Thanks guys, I was super excited.

    However DH wants us to "save them", for what I dint know. I was all excited to cash some of them in and buy something cool.

    Oh well, still a great day.
