I definitely recommend them. They're fairly big, they keep her clean, and they have held up amazingly well, even after being machine washed after every use (I toss them in when I wash our CDs). We have a set of three that we've been using for almost a year and they're still in great shape.
We use the Target brand ones that you can wipe off and have the little pouch at the bottom to catch food. Or honestly he just doesn't wear one anymore!

I have some bumkins and some thicker plastic ones with a pocket at the bottom to catch food, etc.
Re: Toddler Bibs
I have these: https://www.amazon.com/green-sprouts-Waterproof-Absorbent-Terry/dp/B000CP2X9O/ref=dp_cp_ob_ba_title_2
I had the boy colors for Nicholas and the girl colors for Ava. They seem pretty big to me.
We use the Bumkins brand: https://www.amazon.com/Bumkins-S-464-Waterproof-SuperBib-Flutter/dp/B001D0U2Y0/ref=sr_1_3?s=baby-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1322576234&sr=1-3

Well, at least for my two slobs.
4 Fresh IVF cycles + 1 FET where embies didn't survive the thaw = 2 perfect little men!
sFET 11/9/11 - Beta 11/18 BFP!
I really appreciate the sleeve coverage... I hate how they get food all the way up to their elbows.
Toddlers are messy messy animals.
