My DD is a little over 6 months old. I started introducing solids a few weeks ago, and so far she seems to hate everything. She makes an "eww this is gross" face when I give it to her and sometimes spits it out. I've tried making my own baby food and the organic pouches, and I've tried mixing the food with a little breastmilk or rice cereal, but nothing really changes the way she seems to feel about it. My mom told me it's normal and that it's just the baby getting used to the texture, but I'm wondering when will she actually be used to it and appear to be enjoying eating. When did your LO get excited about solid foods and stop making funny faces when eating?
Re: When do babies start liking food?
"Tolerates food" is the progress we've made over the last six weeks.
I'm in the same boat....:S
It seems that DD just started maybe accepting cereal without making faces.....I won't say it to loud though...lol
DD2: February 2014
Still waiting....
We are lucky to get one bite in, and then she refuses more. The only thing she seems to have liked was carrots. She ate two bites of those.
