One of my best friends is pregnant, 27 weeks.. she likes more unique names. She's having a boy, and wants to use an "A" name (not for a particular reason, but because those ones are sticking out to her).

Her list:

Abner
Ander
Adley
Arley
Arvid
Aspen
Atticus
Atley

Her last name (she allowed me to post) is Haskins.
She loves Atticus the most, but wasn't sure it flowed with her last name. (same A sound, she thought it had a funny flow).
Her second favorite is Abner, but she's not sure..

I like all, but I'm not as fond of Adley and Arley.
Opinions? :)

    I like Abner and Atticus best. I don't think the flow is too bad. Has she considered Arlo?

    I dont like any of these names.  Atticus is the best of that bunch though.  Atticus doesnt flow well with her last name, its difficult to say out loud.  How about Alexander, Andrew, Anthony?

    What about Asher?  Asher Haskins flows better than Atticus.

    I do like Atticus and Anders with a 's' , very Battlestar Galatica. Geeked

    I would offer Axel, Abram/Abraham and maybe Archer.

    All of those 3 are way too popular/common for her tastes.  She's open to suggestions :)  She just definitely knows she wants it to be an A, and would prefer a more uncommon name. I've sent her an e-mail with all of the suggestions here, maybe something will pop at her.

    I love Arlo. I also love Ashton, but remember her saying she felt it was too popular. I adore Abraham, too.

    Arlo, Ace, Abe, Abram. These would be my fav A names.

    I love Atticus! It has lately been becoming our boy frontrunner.

    I think it sounds good with her last name.

    If she has the cajones for it, I also love Apollo.
