  I use a q-tip to clean out his nose daily.
  

  Born at 31w3d due to severe IUGR & Placental Insufficiency--2lbs 3ounces

  This ! Keep suctionning his nose like 4 times a day with saline ... Then, when theres a little crust near the tip of his nose, I clean it out with a lil qtip. Don't worry about the amount of secretions, theres more from where it came from .... it's like a lil snot machine lol.

  I suction 2-3 times a day with saline. Usually 2, but I tell DCP they can do it mid-day if they feel like he needs it.

  Suction, warm wash cloth or wipes, and cool humidifier.
