I need to vent....

My mother and I went to Kmart in our area yesterday, it was surprisingly empty, and some woman gave me 'the look'.

She was walking around, with her very young child in the cart and walked past me, stopped, looked me up and down and then met my eyes and glared at me. WTF? Why? I know I'm at the awkward point where you may not be able to tell if I am just fat or pregnant but jeez.... looks like you've got a kid, there.... I assume you've been down this road... why so rude? I see so many women when I am out looking at me and giving me the nasty eyes and then mumbling to each other. 

Are you jealous or just a bi**h?!? Ugh... They are lucky my mom was with me or I might have hit someone.

    i wonder why people would give you dirty looks, whenever people have done that to me i say,"can i help you?" i have no patience for people being rude for no reason like that.

    I have to admit...about 6 months ago, I was the snarky biitch who cut eyes and ran in the other direction of a pregnant woman. I think I was a little bit bitter about having to try for so long and then having a loss.
    First came love, then came marriage - Oct 31, 09
    Then came a miscarriage March '11
    Then came a baby in the baby carriage May 16, 12

    Waiting on our second little peanut!

     Totally with you on this. I never gave evil eyes but I would always just go in the other direction.

    OP- It's sad, but women are just bitches to one another sometimes. I usually return "evils" with a look that could wither a garden of flowers.
