I talked some sense into DH!!

So ever since we found out we're expecting twins we've been having to think of a new vehicle to get. DH was so stuck on getting a newer Suburban which I was so against since I'm sure i'll be driving it more and loading all the kids in and out on my own because i'm a SAHM. He liked it because it was "more his style" and we love camping so it would hold a lot of camping gear. I'm all for getting a minivan! I know it would be easier with the automatic doors, the tv, the extra room for all 4 kids and it still holds storage in the rear! lol plus better gas mileage than the suburban!

So last night DH and I started talking about it pretty heavy, when we talk we argue because we want to be heard! lol but it's just how we talk. MIL was there and she walks off saying "i'm staying out of this" because we were really getting into it. haha We eventually asked her to come back out to see who's side she was on.. she was totally on my side about getting a van!

Eventually DH said "Okay, your right, we'll get a van" OOOooh, how I love hearing those words! I win!

    If you're ever planning on getting a small trailer or a boat down the road, the Suburban would be able to handle it better.  We were looking at a Tahoe and ended up getting a Suburban.  There are many times we say we are glad we got it.

    Although I hate vans, so if I had to get a minivan I'd cry :)

    My DH is probably one of the only one's out there that actually WANTS a minivan.  Our third vehicle is an older Navigator and when we get something else it will be along those lines.  I love how safe I feel driving it and we use it all the time for towing/hauling, etc. 

    If you do end up needing something to tow with down the road you can always get a used vehicle for really cheap that will do the job.
