Heard a few of you missed me.

Hello Ladies!

I was pointed to a posting from a while back and it seems as though you miss me. Wink

We are taking a break, of course, thanks to Nicole's specialist pulling our scheduled attempt for this month and maybe next. We met with her specialist and he told us that he wanted to run complete blood work to check to make sure she doesn't have any other immunity issues. Also, he told us that the blood thinner amount she was on before was not nearly enough. She was taking 30mg once a day and he told her because she's "a bigger girl" (lol) that she should be on 120mg! No wonder our babies couldn't stick!!

We had to have health records transferred offices and the specialist needed to look at them before he orders the blood work. After that we are looking at meeting with him again, but we are planning on drive the 1hr to get to his other office so we can get in sooner. There is a chance that we can get in for a December cycle, but it's looking slim. I'm actually okay with that bc Nicole's 2ww would end right around Christmas. That could be a great Christmas or a really frustrating one. On the other hand, I'm REALLY wanting God to bless us with a 2012 baby. It's an even number thing and I'm starting to get worried we are running out of months to get this right. Either way though, a baby would be better!

I haven't been on the boards much because I tend to get too focus on the "whys" of why we aren't getting pregnant and then I get depressed. I will be back on here when we get started again. Meanwhile, know that I'm praying and rooting for you ladies and that you should check out my next posting.

Moving on to surrogacy (actually a planned adoption)
Surrogate IUI#1: 7.17.12 = BFP!! 15dpiui = 256, 17dpiui = 346

IUI #4 - #6: 2014-2015 = BFN (with C/Ps)
Switch sperm donors, start ketosis diet to reduce inflammation late 2015
IVF 2: Jan and Feb 2016, 3 great looking, 8 cell 3 day embryos. Two ET, one frozen
2.18.2016 (8dp3dt) = BFFP!
2.22.2016 (12dp3dt) = 649!!

Started foster care experience in 2012. Now waiting to adopt our foster daughter, 7, who has lived with us for 3 years.

    Maybe.....j/k :) Good to hear that you guys are getting some tests done and hopefully some answers. Praying and rooting for you both too.

    I was just thinking about you and the wife the other day! Well, it's good to have a plan, but I know that limbo stage is really hard. I too have been on a break for a while, but I cannot keep myself off the boards. While I like being here to support and still learn more about the IVF process, it's been hard to see so many bfps while on break. I am happy for others, and it gets me hopeful, but sometimes it's hard when I think of how long I still have to wait until we can cycle again. Anyhoo, I am so glad things are going well and I wish you the best of luck for your upcoming cycle!!

    Forced break due to DH getting spinal surgery in August 2011
    IVF - January 2012: BFN
    FET in April 2012 - BFP at 6dp5dt! Beta #1 at 9dp5dt: 82.5, Beta #2 at 12dp5dt: 352 Beta #3 at 19dp5dt: 6000, saw heartbeat and one little bean at 5W6D!
    After nearly 3 years of waiting our LO was born December 18th 2012!

    You have been missed! We need our dose of testosterone on this board. Haha. Glad to hear you're getting some new tests done. Hope you get the answers you need.

    PCOS--TTC since 11/2010:   
    5 cycles of Clomid: all BFN, 1 cycle of Follistim:CP
    1 year break thanks to deployment.
    1 cycle Follistim: BFN, Lap to remove peritubal cyst May 2013
    2 cycles Follistim + trigger: BFN, Gonal F +IUI April 2014: BFP!!!!!! 

    Boy/Girl Twins due Jan 5, 2015!!!

    Awe you were missed Chris :) I wish you and Nicole nothing but the best and hope you get some answers from this specialist and can move forward with a successful cycle! Cant wait to hear some updates when you come back. And i totally understand needing a break! Hang in there!

    We have been thinking about you and are glad to hear you are doing ok.  I think its a good thing that you and Nicole's RE is taking the time to make sure everything is right before you cycle again.  Keep us posted, we miss you.

    BCPs started back in Sept due to cysts
    10/27/13: Start stims (225 IUs Gonal-F + 75 IUs Menopur)
    11/03/13 - 11/05/13: Add Ganirelix to the mix
    11/06/13: 3 follicles at 18mm-- Ready to trigger!
    11/08/13: ER-- 17R, 13M, 8F
    11/13/13: 5dt-- 2 blasts (Luke and Leia) 5AB and 4AB, 1 frostie
    11/20/13- 11/23/13: light positives on FRERs and Wondofos
    11/22/13: BFN per RE office (under HCG of 10)
    11/27/13: CP ::sigh::

    *12/03/13: Follow up...great response and quality this time, was given 50% chance of it working, just didn't stick. Great plan for 2014! 

    **Jan 2014: Last IVF of our SRP**
    IVF w/ICSI, freeze all, then FET
    12/27/13: Start BCPs
    01/19/14: Stims (375 IUs Gonal-F + 75 IUs Menopur)
