Trying to Get Pregnant

Moving on to cycle # 6

Hello Cycle #6!  I can't believe we've already been through 5 cycles.  When I started this, I thought I'd be pregnant on the first try!  Am I the only one who was totally clueless? lol.  Now I realize that 5 cycles isn't even that long.  At least this last cycle my LP went from 8 days to 10, so that's a positive thing that came out of last cycle!  Anyone else learn anything last cycle?

  • I am on cycle 6 as well! It took us 8 cycles with my DS but we weren't temping/doing OPK's... so I thought this time would be faster... no such luck.

    GL to you! ;)

This is my first cycle temping! I also created a fertilityfriend account :)

I'm on cycle #5. No, you're not the only one who was totally clueless. I thought I'd get pregnant the first couple of tries. When the first three cycles didn't work out, it didn't bother me too much. I know I haven't been trying for long, but I took it really tough when I got AF yesterday and knew that the 4th cycle was a bust. Have had an emotional weekend. Trying to pick myself up and move on. I don't know that I learned anything this past cycle. But I am going to start taking b-complex more regularly and BD more. So we'll see! Good luck to you!

  • yup, I was pretty clueless myself. I didn't expect it to happen right away, but 9 months later (with 1 m/c) and we're still waiting, didn't see that one coming!

thankfully I stumbled across the bump and all the wonderful information here that encouraged me to stop using the online ovulation calculator (no wonder I didn't get pregnant when I used that- I still compare my FF date of ovulation to what the online one says and it's off by about a week!) and to start temping. Now, I feel like we have a chance again. Start temping if you're not, very helpful!
