we are entering the home stretch and haven't come up with a fun way to tell waiting room folks our big news once the north happens. considering having people wear pink or blue to the hospital? anything more original? looking for something better than just the 1940s husband proclamation
Re: team green & gender reveal ideas for delivery room
My DH is super excited about the 1940's husband proclamation, so that's the way we're doing it. Gives him a fun role in the day.
I think pink or blue something would be good...whether it's clothes or a snack or even a nice little gum cigar thing with the It's a Boy or It's a Girl!
We personally like the "1940s husband proclamation" because it is DH's special moment to go share the news with everyone. I have carried the baby, felt the baby so closely and had all of the pregnancy deal and this is going to be his special moment. He is actually looking forward to it.
If that's not for you, you could try a few ideas... My brother and SIL didn't tell anyone and introduced my niece just by name, so we all knew when we heard that. I have seen candy (or real) cigars that say "it's a girl" or "it's a boy" that you could break out when people come in. I also saw a cute idea to have pink or blue pacifiers to hand out.
Good luck!
