If you freeze cookie dough as a present...

How do you like to package it?  My girlfriend's birthday is coming up and I'd love to make some tomorrow and give to her at her party on Saturday.  Should I just refridgerate and then tell her to freeze?  What kind of wrapping should it be in?  Any other particulars?  TIA!

    I usually do it with cookies that you roll into logs. I freeze them in plastic wrap, and tie curly bow on each end. You can even find colored plastic wrap. I always take them frozen. Last year my oven broke the morning of our cookie exchange I took them frozen, and everyone loved it because they had cookies to bake later on.
