If your baby was breech and then flipped...

Did your belly feel smaller?

I had a feeling he had flipped on Saturday morning and I was at a benefit on Saturday night and asked my mw about it, she found us a little room at the benefit and checked to find that the baby was head down! Yay!

But my belly has felt smaller since...

My other baby is still a baby! Baby Boy 11-30-11

  • Mine definitely feels smaller since she flipped. She dropped within the last week and a half, so now I feel even smaller than that. Stick out tongue

Glad that your LO decided to flip!

  • My belly felt smaller and I felt like I could breathe again bc her head was no longer wedged into my lungs and ribcage.

    Congrats on a flippy baby!

  • I could tell he had flipped because of the pressure I felt in the lower parts of my body, like my pelvis/bladder area.  I also noticed I wasn't as short of breath as I had been.  I definitely didn't feel like my belly got smaller, though, just lower.

  • Mine is breech and the Dr. said that when you are breech you measure and look bigger (cause baby isn't dropping right) so it would totally make sense that your belly seems smaller since yours has flipped. Congrats!

  • No mine feels the same if not bigger. I have noticed when I'm lying down now that my bellybutton actually sinks down and doesn't poke out. Very weird after being used to seeing it poke out 24/7

  • Maybe it feels smaller after he flipped because maybe you've dropped too!
