Belly Buds?

I was just curious if anyone found any great ways for the baby to get some in-utero listening.  I've looked a few products but can't decide if I actaully need one or should just crank the stereo up.  Thought? Music

  • I was just talking about Bellybuds! They are an awesome product. Just plug them into any standard music player and you can start playing volume-controlled music to the baby :) Plus they come with a cool little splitter, so you can listen to the music at the same time the baby is! Definitely recommend the VoiceShare feature too, so you can record messages/stories/songs for the little one, and download them to the player! Congrats and good luck :)

  • I'm just going to use regular headphones, no use spending the extra money on something special that does the same thing.

  • I have heard that headphones or belly buds are actually not good for the baby because liquid carries sound so well, you can damage the baby's hearing because it will be too loud. Just something I heard.

  • I, myself am a Lullabelly fan - extremely soft and has a controlled volume level (no matter how loud I listen to mine).  It also comes with extra headphones and a splitter - I listen at night to unwind and my little guys seems to calm down too.

  • i just used headphones. i didnt blast the music super loud or anything and my kids hear fine. this pregnancy i think i'll just sing along bc my kids ended up having my husbands crappy taste in music so maybe they got sick of the good stuff in utero. lol
