    If you are interested in a boarding facility (for dogs only), I strongly recommend Lazy Dog Crazy Dog in SE Portland (88th and Stark).  They have social boarding where the dogs play in daycare all day and someone is on site 24/7. 

    They also send emails and pics of your pup playing while you are gone.

    Stay Pet Hotel is another great place. Our dog had a rough road to adoption, so we couldn?t bear to board him. But we absolutely needed to one time and got several recs for Stay. He *loved* it. He?s been back several times and is always a very happy camper.
