Leaking Boobs??? Really?!?!

So, I'm only 25 weeks. I have 15 weeks to go! Two nights ago me and my husband are laying in bed, he gets up to go to the restroom and looks at me and says "Hey hon, you're leaking." Sure enough, I look down at my shirt and my whole left breast is soaked. Really?!?! He thought it was great, but am I really going to have to have this for another 15 weeks before baby gets here? And then last night as I get out of the shower I realize both breasts are leaking, and one has blood mixed in. I'm assuming the blood is because I had a breast biopsy a couple of weeks ago and it has probably been sitting in my ducts for a while, but I am going to call my OB today. Anyone else having this, this early? I was expecting it at about 6 weeks before I am due, not 15! Geez...

Leaking boobs can occur at 25w and even earlier for some women...so what you're experiencing is not abnormal.

However, the part about the blood sounds unusual and I think you should definitely call your practitioner.

I have milk already. I only had a good 3 months without milk since I still had some when I got pregnant. I agree the blood is probably from the biopsy. I had one while BFing and the milk I pumped from that breast was pink (I threw it away). Still, I'd call your Dr just to let them know about the blood though.

I thought it was colostrum that leaks, not milk. I thought you didn't get milk until a few days after the baby is born.

I have been leaking for a couple months now. I had a really big crusty spot on my shirt from last night. My nurse said it could be due to nipple stimulation because I don't wear a bra to bed. I think it is more from the pressure of laying on a certain side.

It sounds like MomtoH had been breastfeeding before becoming pregnant again, so in that case you would have milk. For FTM it would be colostrom leaking, not milk.

I'm a FTM and 27 weeks today, I've leaked a little I first noticed it about a week and a half ago, but mine's only been a few drops at a time not enough to soak my shirt, still freaked me out a little though because I did not expect that!
