How many kids do you want?

I'm always interested in seeing how many kids people want and why. One and done? A pair? Will you give the Duggars a run for their money? Do you want them close together or spaced out? If IF/TTTC were not a factor, for those that it is, would your answer change?

    I would love 2, but at this rate I will take 1 for pete's sake...Lol I would want them close together I am getting older,sigh.

    DH and I both want either 2-3 children. If our first 2 are a girl and a boy then we will be done. But if we have 2 girls (or 2 boys) first then we will try for a 3rd. But 3 is our MAX no more, unless of course the last 3rd try got us twins =)

    edited: to add that we want them very close together in age as well!

    We're hoping for 3-4, as close together as we can get them. DH is one of 3 and loves it, but his youngest brother is almost 6 years younger and they hate that. It was difficult for them to be close when they were at such different ages. I have one brother, but always wished there were more of us. I'll be 35 soon, so in hopes of being done by 40 we will try to have pregnancies spaced as close together as the pregnancy gods will allow.

    We're looking to completely our family with one more.  My first two are 27 months apart.  I'd like this one to be born before my #2 turns three.

    We have agreed to start with one, and see how it goes, but we want 2-3. I would love twins, I'm a twin. I think that freaks out my husband though!!!

    DH and I would love to have 2, a boy and a girl but of course would be thrilled with whatever we are blessed with. 3 would be our max but that seems seems like a lot to me right now so who knows. :)

    Ok so I am the odd one out so far who only wants one. DH and I both have siblings but for ourselves think one baby would be perfect. Not sure I coul handle more than one :-)

    We're hoping for 4, as close as possible. Still no PP AF yet, so I'm starting to think we won't be lucky enough to have 2u2.

    I have always wanted 3-4 kids, but that was when I thought I could click my fingers and be knocked up (not literally, I know). Now I think I want to just go with the flow and see what happens, because putting pressure on us to have all these kids is going to make for one long and stressful TTC process.

    I would love 3, DH is adamant on 2! I'm the oldest of 3 and we are each 15 months apart and get along great. DH is the youngest of three and his sibings are 6 and 8 years older than him so he pretty much grew up an only child. And I would love them really close in age but that is not happening. sigh.

    We would love two more.  I have a daughter who is 11 from previous relationship and DH has 5 year old son from his previous marriage.  So I'm very blessed that if for some reason getting KU doesn't happen...I have two have a wonderful daughter and amazing step son I love very much! :)  I think i would want them 3 years apart, but that might change depending on how long it takes to get KU this time. Honestly, i didn't think it was going to take this long; a bit naive I guess.  Embarrassed  I say three years apart because i don't know that i would want two kids in diapers at the same time.  I think if i could do it so at least one is potty trained (or close to being potty trained), that might be a little easier.

    5-16-12: Offically start IUI#1-->Clomid(50mg) + Trigger + IUI + progesterone supplements=BFN
    IUI #2-same treatment-->BFN
    July IUI#3-same treatment--->BFN
    Aug 22, 2012-Laparoscopy Found/Removed extensive endometreosis.
    September 2012-IUI #4-Same treatment as before. BFN
    October 2012-forced break/Surgery to remove abnormal cells in left breast.
    November 2012-First Injects Cycle (IUI #5)! 225IU Follistim CD 3-5, then monitoring appointment. 20+ follier & e2 >2000-Mild OHSS
    December 2012-#2 Injects + IUI#6): Beta 1/18/13-BFN!
    Jan 2013-Starting IVF!!! BC starts Jan 17/Lupron on Feb 13/Stims on Feb 18/ER on March 1 IVF Protocol: Lupron 10 units in am until stimms. Then 5 units of Lurpon in am, 150iu of Follistim and 1 unit of Menopur in pm. Holding dosage throughtout since response has been great. Thought we would be freeze all due to OHSS, but ended up getting more follicles then expected! 14 total!!! 12 mature and 11 fertilized. Dr calls for a 5 day transfer!! :) Will freeze remaining.

    I think two but we'll decide after we have one. We want them close but not too close. Around 2-3 years apart.

    I would like 3, DH only wants 2. I never want him to feel overwhelmed or in over his head so we will probably stop at 2. We used to want them really close, now we are liking the idea of enjoying our first one until they are like 3ish. We will see, hoping to be blessed with one for now!

    I'd like 3 (some days) and DH only wants 2.  Realistically, we'll stop at 2 because I don't really want them super close in age (3 years would be ideal) and I'm also not that young.

    I would like 2 and DH thinks it would be nice to have 4. We decided that after 2 we would decided and go from there. I honestly don't see us having more than 2 having watched my SIL with three already and wanting one more. When the kids out number you it goes from a strategy of one on one to playing defense :D I don't think we are prepared to handle that!

    We would both like two. I'd like to have them close together but I think my DH might want to wait a little longer.

    We would like 2-3. I would really really love at least one girl but of course we'll be happy with just getting a BFP either way! I would like them about 3-4 years apart.

     DH and I would love at least 3 since we both have two siblings ourselves. Also we would love to have them close is age. Currently we are working on our 1st so time will tell!

    We want 2-3. If we get a boy and a girl with the first two then we will decide if we want to add another one. However if we get two boys or two girls, we will probably try one more time for sure! Oh and we would like them close together in age.

    Preliminary labs/testing @ 6 months: TSH, A1c, progesterone, prolactin, SA, HSG all normal

    We have always wanted two kids, and I wanted to be done before I was 28. But I just wrote my first check for my IUI last night and one baby Is looking better and better after a previous loss and subsequent IF.

    We want 2 but are open for a 3rd; it'll depend after having the second one lol...

    Twins run in my family (over 6 pairs) so I may have 2 pregnancies?

    If I could have it perfectly my way I would have 2. The first would be a boy and then a girl. I think if possible kids should have a sibling so I would definitely want more than 1 but probably no more than 3. I would probably want them to be about 2 years about as well.

    DH wants 3 or 4 and I love the idea of having 4.  Ideally we would have first two about two years apart and then wait a couple of years and have two more.  We are working on #1 though, so I guess we'll see how that goes first!

    I'd love to have 4, because big chaotic families just make sense to me and I have visions of huge loud Christmas get-togethers with everyone. My husband says let's have one and take it from there. Such a realist!

    As it is, it's not looking like 4 is going to happen, since I'm 31 now and we're just working on our first. I'll take what I can get, but even though I know it would be crazy and difficult, I'd be delighted with a big family.

    BFP #1 9/7/12. Loved for a month, and lost 10/11/12.

    I come from a big family, I have 5 brothers so I want only 1 child
    Me: 32, DH: 34.
    Trying since Jan 2011. Unexplained IF.
    2 IUIs = BFN.
    1 IVF (Dec 2013) = BFN.
    FET, 2 frosties (June 13, 2014)

    14dp5dt-June 27 -BFP, beta 2061. 2nd beta >5000, 3rd beta >5000, 2 sacs 06/30.
    Twin Girls - 02/11/15 - at 37 weeks (no NICU, home with me at 3 days).

    My hope is for 2 and I want them to be a few years apart (no 2u2 for me). My bro and I are almost 3 years apart and that seemed to work out well. DH is an only child.
