Who is black friday shopping?

I will live vicariously through others this year. I have to work until 11pm on Thanksgiving and then be back at the store at 6am Friday. My boss asked me not to stay up and get no sleep. So if anything I will go at 2 pm when I am done work. There is really nothing we need since we don't need a tv or laptop. So far the only thing I saw was a $10 baby alive at walmart. i am sure when I look at target and toys r us I might find more.

So I guess my shopping will be done at Walgreens this year. It seems like we are having pretty good deals so I know I will pick up a few things

Only from the comfort of my computer! Different stores put their sales online at different times, I may stay up all night in the comfort of my LazyBoy recliner with a nice hit cup of tea !

I have not gone in years.....so so much easier to do cyber shopping! I hate crowds and I get pretty cranky if the one item I went for is sold out. Come to think of it, I don't even know if I am working that day! haha

Walmart is starting at 10pm this year (because target announced they were starting at midnight). I work at 11am Friday, but DH works at 5am, so I won't go with dd. I haven't gone though since having her, so no big deal. If we had something big ticket we wanted, I miiiiight think about it, but I think I would prefer to watch and get it online. I hate crowds and lack of sleep, so it is not for me.

Nope. Internet shopper here too. I havent gone since I was pregnant with B. That was to get a glider for a great deal. I do go out in the afternoon sometimes. Doubtful this year.

I'm undecided if I will go out this year. Maybe late night on Thanksgiving if there's some great deal, but I'm guessing a lot of the online places will be trying to match the deals.

you know every year we say we arent going to go out, and then every year dh finds some deal he just needs to get! he usually goes out by himself obviously because im not getting Liam up and then comes home all grumpy because they were sold out! LOL!

My BFF and I go to the WaterlooOutlets at 11pm/midnight. Yeah... we are THOSE crazy people. Last year we talked my BIL into coming with us to stand in line(he was intoxicated, he agreed. I don't think he'll be doing THAT again)

Seriously... amazing deals. She loaded up on $600 worth of Children's Place clothes for like $100... awesome.

It's a lot of fun, great deals and more or less a girl bonding night for us. We love it and do it every year.

We'll be in NJ somewhere at the time so I won't be going. I doubt there is anything I'd want bad enough that's worth fighting the crowds for anyway.

no- I dont black friday shopping...I dont think I've ever seen a deal good enough for me to fight the crowds- and since I used to work retail- I'm really not a fan...

I have never gone. There really isn't ever anything that I HAVE to have at that moment. I've noticed a lot of places still have great sale prices on a lot of stuff throughout the holiday season. It isn't worth the missed sleep, crowds, and aggravation to me. I guess if there was a really big ticket item I might consider it, but it would have to be amazing and a guarantee that I would get it!

I usually hit up the outlets with my parents around 5am to load up on winter clothes for Stella. By 5am all the crazy midnight shoppers have left but the day shoppers haven't made it yet so it's completely dead; yet you get the same sales.

Nope...been there done that once, and will not do that again. I will online shop or maybe venture out later in the day, to LL Bean and stores like that with great sales but not the doorbuster craziness.
