These pregnancy announcements on you tube are making me cry! makes me wish I could announce in person to my family. I need cute ideas on what to do when you are far away! I was thinking of sending a picture frame with an ultrasound to my mother or personalized candies. I am not sure

    Missed m/c discovered June 2nd 2011 at 12w4d
    D&C scheduled June 7th 2011 at 13w2d
    Found out our baby boy had Triploidy XXY through embryopathology
    BFP #2 September 28th 2011 Due June 8th 2012
    Missed m/c discovered November 20th 2011 at 11w2d
    D&C November 29th 2011 at 12w4d
    Found out our baby girl had Monosomy X through embryopathology
    BFP #3 April 24th 2012 Due January 5th 2013
    Betas falling on 04/26/12 Chemical Pregnancy
    RPL testing done, multi nodular goiters on thyroid discovered.

    BFP #4 November 22nd 2012, Due August 5th 2013
    Betas: 17 @ 9dpo, 62 @ 11dpo, 124 @ 12dpo, 321 @ 14dpo 720 @ 16dpo 13,805 @ 23 dpo 
    First ultrasound at 6w3d, hb 122 bpm. 
    Second ultrasound at 7w3d hb 143 bpm 
    Third ultrasound at 10w1d hb 167-170 bpm 
    Forth ultrasound 12w1d hb 167 bpm 
    Graduated rpl program, moving on to regular ob! 
    It's a boy! 

    Little man was born August 1st 2013, 7lbs 8oz and 20.5 inches long

    You haven't told your mother yet? How is that possible??? I'm only asking because it was really hard for me to wait until our 7w u/s to tell my parents.

    It didn't work out to tell them in person, so I sent them a card with picture of the u/s inside and the EDD, and told them to call me before opening it.

     

    Because I have an IC and I can go into preterm labor any time and lose the baby. I lost my son in Jan and I am scared to say anything until the baby is at least 24 weeks so LO has a chance at life incase I go into labor. Its easy for me to keep it hidden because we live out of the country

    Do you Skype with your mom?  I would send her a card or present announcing you are pregnant.  I would have something on it saying don't open until you talk to me first.  Then you could see her reaction.

    No, she doesn't do the whole internet thing :( I was planning on sending something but I am not sure what exactly to send.

    We told our parents super early with the first pregnancy (lesson learned on that, but anyway)... since we live several states away from both of our families, we sent each grandparent a package with a onesie that that "Grandma loves me" or "Grandpa loves me"... and that was it... no card, no words needed.  Smile

    The phone calls we received when they opened the packages were hilarious!!

    We will probably still tell our parents pretty early again... maybe around Christmas.  Its scary to spread the news so soon, but if, God forbid, something went awry with this pregnancy I would need the support of our families again.

    We told our parents at a belated Mother's Day get together.  I ordered each mom a copy of the Grandma's Handbook, a picture book that I knew they would enjoy about grandmas, and a u/s picture.  We were there when we opened them, but you could do something similar mail wise. 

    I'm sure however you make the announcement, your mom will be thrilled.

    Me too! Loved the clip. And I agree with the other ladies I am so impressed you haven't told your mom yet. I told mine before DH because he wasn't home yetEmbarrassed
