Should I use Naomi?

So DH and I really love the name Naomi River for our dd that is due in March.

Only problem is I have a cousin who's name is Naomi. We see her once a year, and I plan on asking her if I decide I really want to use the name....

but what's really holding me back is that I think my entire side of the family will think it's really weird that we used her name. We wouldn't be honoring my cousin or naming the baby after her, just using her name again. 

I keep picturing telling people what her name is (we keep the name a secret until birth) and being so happy about it until we tell my family....and then not even wanting them to know and feeling like it was totally lame to reuse a name that's in the family. 

What do you think?

    I voted no only because if I were you, my love for Naomi would always be tainted by the fact that I thought it was a little awkward to use my cousin's name. But I do think Naomi is beautiful!

    I voted "Use it" for 2 reasons:

    1) It's one of my dd's names and I think it is absolutely beautiful.

    2) I have a cousin Sari and if I have another dd I want to name her Sari :P
