    I don't feel like quoting multiple posts, so I'm just going to throw in my .02 here.

    Robert Pattinson is very ugly. Taylor Lautner though... completely different story.

    I live in a college town, so not living, breathing, and doing everything football is just weird. Saturdays in Athens are a big deal.

    Is it sad that I gasped when reading this?  Seriously, I did.  I love football.  Down south, football and food - they are just a way of life.

    Nah, it was the same for me in rural Indiana for high school and at Purdue.  Just varies by community, I think.

    have to ask what part of rural IN? It is huge here in Greene Co.

    I was disagreeing with the premise that northerners aren't into football.  Grew up in Carroll County (between Lafayette and Kokomo).  High school Friday nights were a big deal, and Saturdays always meant the radio was tuned to the Purdue game.

    edit:  I don't think it's about "north" and "south".  I think the midwest and the south have a lot in common this way, but neither coast as much so.

    This one's baby related: I can't stand the emphasis pregnant women seem to put on "cute".  What's a "cute" way to tell my husband? I need a "cute" poem to tell my parents?

    Seriously?? Do you live your ENTIRE life like you're a friggin Precious Moments figurine??

    Also, I hate football.  The only thing more boring is baseball.

    I think Robert Pattinson is pretty good looking

    I ADORE Christmas music and listen to it through November and December because a month is just not enough. 

    Baseball is my favorite sport

    I'm from up North and college football is definitely not as popular as in the South but still a pretty big deal where I grew up.

    Except I do agree with is the Penn State stuff. Anyone who is upset that Paterno was fired over this is sick. SO much more should've been done there.  I feel so much disgust for the situation and my heart hurts for those poor victims. That's hardly an UO though.

    I agree with pp that multiple tickers is just dumb.  ONE is enough--I "get" that you are pregnant.  I saw the first ticker.

    I love that song but it's not for kids... parents need to pay attention to what their kids are doing and that goes for all media.

    She is weird and she is totally out there, but her talent can not be denied. She writes her own lyrics, plays multiple instruments and can ACTUALLY sing live and sound damn good while doing it. She's not fake like Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and [insert name of other random untalented twit here]

    I think she's one of the best musical talents of this decade. 

    I think THAT may be the biggest unpopular opinion of the day around here, though.  :P

    It's so darn catchy.  Glad I don't have an impressionable child.  yet.

    This is exactly why I don't listen to that crap.  In our house it's only christian music, and that's what it will be for our kids too.  Then, no worries of them listening to that kind of garbage that people call "music."
