OK maybe i'm just a tired spaz of a new mom but i'm totally confused. I am using the dr browns bottles for my DS with Similac powdered formula. I know you can't shake formula in the dr browns bottles because it will make them leake and screw up the vent system so what do you do when you go out and you have to make your baby a bottle?
What is anyone else doing?
TIA!!!
Re: Dr Browns bottles and formula mixing
This. Didn't know I wasn't supposed to.
This!! I have had no problem shaking them
This is what I do as well, I use the cover, shake it and then give it to DS with the other parts of the bottle put in. No leaks
Thanks guys! I'll try shaking with the disc or the other little screw caps on. I have the mixing pitcher and I love it for when we are home. I was having trouble with making formula for him if we were not home so I'll try your suggestions.
Much appreciated by a very new FTM!!
