Trouble TTC

Anyone good with E2 levels?

So I had my CD8 b/w yesterday.  Its day 6 of injects and my E2 is 356.  The last 2 IUI's my E2 never got above 200 by trigger (153 and 167).  I go back in tomorrow for another u/s and b/w.  Im just curious.  This time I have 3 follies that were measurable and they are all about the same size.  Is E2 indicitive of eggs or am I just being weird?  I got really excited that it was so high but im just not sure what that means.  You girls are so informed about this stuff I was wondering if you had any insight.

TIA!

Re: Anyone good with E2 levels?

  • I'm not very good at intrepreting them but it must be a good sign that it's much higher than previous cycles.

Hopefully one of these ladies can shed more light on it than that.

    Good luck!!

  • I think E2 should measure 200 for every large follie you have. Example, I only have one lead 22mm follie this cycle and my E2 was 260.

I've always read the same. While it wasn't 100% accurate, it was a rough gauge in both of my IVF cycles.
