I'm packing up a bag of DD's stuff for my cousin and his wife who just found out they're having a girl. I found a few swimsuits she's grown out of (3T) and can't decide whether it's weird or not to give them to my cousin? I mean, I personally wouldn't wear hand-me-down swimsuits... and by the age of 3, DD was not wearing swim diapers. So I should just toss them, right?

See, this is what I was thinking as well. Obviously, they've been washed, and my cousin would probably wash them too... but I wouldn't use a hand-me-down swimsuit either. I guess, I'll give them to her and if she doesn't feel comfortable using them, she can toss them herself.

But I agree, I personally would not.
Even swimsuits that don't go, you know, *points up there*, still come into contact with genitalia. Not saying that OP or anyone's children have infections or anything of the sort, but it is obviously a personal preference as to whether or not someone would want to wear an item of clothing that comes into contact in such an intimate location. And FWIW, after working at a daycare, camp and preschool for 4 1/2 years, I've never seen kids wear liners in their bathing suits.
OP I would agree with pp and give them to your cousin and just tell her no hard feelings if she decides not to use them.
I personally wouldn't. I'm also in the camp of swimsuits are like underwear. If it was a baby/small toddler one where they would be wearing a diaper for sure anyway, not an issue.
I do just about anything used except for under clothes, swimsuits, and pjs. That is true for my whole household.
