We did see Dr. Li on Monday. He feels that Evan's case is mild so he does not recommend a helmet. He wants us to keep up agressive repositioning which will hopefully help but if it doesn't, hey, "it's just cosmetic". Based on what you told me I figured this is what we would hear.
He says we can private pay for a band but it would cost 1500 to 2000 dollars. My DH doesn't think it's that bad, I do. When he gets hair most of it won't be noticed but I wonder if he'll hold a grudge when he starts losing his hair at 50 or whenever. I've decided that we'll work on repositioning (and keep reminding dc to do the same) but I'll revaluate right after Christmas to see if a band something we want to pursue. I know the window is really tight for timing.
Thank you for asking and thank you for all of your insight. I really appreciate it!
